Ginger Tea

  1. Bring to the boil four cups of water
  2. Cut off about a thumb of ginger root, peel and slice thinly.
  3. Add to the pot and simmer for about fifteen minutes.
  4. At about five minutes left, add a couple of slices of lemon
  5. Add honey to taste, I added about 1 dessertspoonful, but you my want more.
  6. Strain and pour into cups hot.  I just tipped the entire pot into a teapot and poured it from there.
